22" Zildjian Avedis mid '50s Large/Block Stamp Ride at a weight of 2540 grams and with a great amount of patina. It sounds as good as it looks! It has a nice low pitch, great stick definition with a smokey and wooden touch without loosing that Avedis brightness. You can hear it's a 50s Avedis when you compare it with a 60s or later A. It has way more character, is less "clean" and has some of that almost K-like complexity in it without becoming too much of that. And look at that wobble!!!!
Unfortunately the cymbal has a huge keyhole and a former owner did a very bad job in removing the rivets. These holes had to be enlarged to fix this to make sure it wouldn't crack. This of course doesn't harm the sound, just the looks and therefor the price as well.
