22" Paiste Pre Serial Super Formula ('57-'63) 'Plain Stamp' Ride 3015gr
This 22" Paiste Pre Serial Super Formula is one of the earliest B20 cymbals from Paiste. The cymbal has the 'plain stamp' putting it in the period from 1957 to 1963. It has the characteristic 'boob' shaped bell and already shows that typical 602 sound we all love and has been maintained by Paiste for decades!
The cymbal weights 3015 grams, making it a bit of a heavy cymbal, but funny enough doesn't play like a heavy cymbal. It has a nice rebound and doesn't feel stiff. It opens up nicely and has an amazing stick definition. And to top it all off, this cymbal is (besides some mild patina, stick makes and tape residu) in excellent condition. A real time capsule!
