21" Istanbul Pre-Split Ride (from before Mehmet and Agop decided to both start their own shop). To me, this cymbal is, within its purpose, as close to perfect as they come. It's full, it's bright, it has a nice bell that cuts through easily without becoming harsh, some complex texture to it, but subtle enough to easily control the cymbal and yet also add that texture and dark tones to it in the sustain. Amazing for pop and big band playing, but would hold up in pretty much evert genre, from jazz to heavy metal.
