20" UFIP Medio Thin "Jazz" Ride 2228gr

Pretty rare 20" UFIP Medio Thin "Jazz" Ride. Most interesting about this cymbal is its bell. It's is small, high and round, giving both the bell and the rest of the cymbal a very typical high bright ring.

The overall sound is bright in general with a bit of a dusty vibe to it. More or less as can be expected from UFIP rotocast cymbals from this era.

The cymbal is labeled Medium Thin "Jazz" but with a weight of 2228 grams that definitely heavier than we'd expect from a jazzy cymbal today. For bigband playing or bigger combos, this cymbal is really great though!

I'd personally use it more for pop and rock songs that can use that extra brightness to cut through the mix. Would probably be great in the studio as well!
