22" K. Zildjian (Istanbul) Intermediate Stamp Ride 3020gr
This 22" K. Zildjian (Istanbul) Intermediate Stamp Ride is a perfect example of how weight can tell us a lot, but doesn't say anything at the same time. If you'd judge this cymbal purely on its weight, begin 3020 grams, you'd probably say it's too heavy and let it be. But already after that first touch, you can see at the wobble of the cymbal that there's a whole lot more to it than just the weight. Some old K's can be a bit stiff and 'clonky' because of it. This one is the exact opposite of that. It's really loose, sings beautiful with great semi bright stick definition, nice bell and even a great crash, which doesn't have the never ending sustain you'd expect.
It's a really versatile cymbal because of all these qualities. For this demo I used Vic Firth Peter Erskine Ride sticks for extra clear stick definition, but for groovy and pop music, it sounds great just with regular 5A's as well!
Unfortunately there are a keyhole and 2 small hairline cracks in the center hole, which doesn't effect the sound, but for the rest, it's in absolute great condition!
