14" Sabian 1st gen HH (Hand Hammered) Hihat 940/1460gr
First generation of Sabian HH (Hand Hammered) hihats from the mid 1980s. These cymbals are the exact same cymbals as the Zildjian Canadian K's but just with a different stamp. Even the ink was the same! These cymbals were made in the tradition of the Old K's made in Istanbul and are close to the Zildjian New Stamps. This particular pair has a relative big weight difference between the top and bottom cymbal. The top is 940 grams, making the pair responsive and crispy and the bottom is 1460 grams, giving the pair some extra beef and bright stick definition, making it a very groovy pair of hats! The pair is not really suitable for jazz or other small combo's (in my opinion) but would work great in pretty any other genre!
