This is an 18" UFIP cymbal that used to be pretty heavy. We lathed it down to a weight of 1490 grams, by taking off some weight on the top and bottom side of the cymbal. The result is a great dry crash ride with a nice tone and short decay, which makes it a dynamic and musical cymbal to play. Great for jazz or for gigs at smaller vanues.
