21" Modified Zildjian Avedis 'Dragon' Sizzle Ride 2220gr
This 21" Modified Zildjian Avedis 'Dragon' Sizzle Ride is not for beginners!
It has been hand hammered with regular hammering for complexity and some clusters to get it a bit more dry and contained. It also has been lathed down to a weight of 2220 grams by taking off weight on both the top and the bottom side of the cymbal. The ride has been driller for 3 (Zildjian) rivets which are clustered together.
It took us some time to get tot this final result and being completely happy with it's outcome, but now it did, we think it's something really special! It holds somewhere between a china and a thin complex jazz ride. It's wild, but articulated and has a fierce crash but without a very long sustain and due to all the hammering it's got some rich harmonics and tones to it. It really takes some time to find your way around the cymbal, but once you do, it's such a load of fun to play it!
