19" Modified Zildjian Avedis Semi-Dry Ride 1635gr
Here is a 19" modified Zildjian Avedis Ride. It used to be a 20" with a really bad edge, so we decided to bring it down an inch and give the edge some nice new tapering. The overall profile of the cymbal is relatively flat (except for the bell of course) giving the cymbal a nice and rich sound. The decay is on the short side, which I actually really dig. It allows you to give it a proper hit, bringing in a lot of energy, but without taking over 30 seconds of the song in its sustain. For this cymbal, we went with the classic K. Zildjian style hammering and lathing on tom and bottom side of the cymbal. The new weight of the cymbal is now 1635 grams, making it a great main ride for small combos or an excellent left side next to a 21" or 22".
